Veteran’s Disc Club Inc. Hosts Inaugural Fall Classic Disc Golf Tournament to Support Veterans and Families Springfield, MI – November 22, 2025

Veteran’s Disc Club Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting military veterans and their families through recreation and community engagement, is proud to announce the Veteran’s Disc Club Fall Classic, to be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Begg Park in Springfield, Michigan.

The Fall Classic is a non-professional, community-focused disc golf event designed to bring together veterans, their families, and local supporters for a day of camaraderie and wellness. The event will feature two divisions (Beginner and Recreational), Closest-to-Pin (CTP) contests on holes 5 and 17, and an Ace Pot open to all participants.

“Disc golf gives us a powerful way to connect, heal, and rediscover purpose,” said John Thurman, President of Veteran’s Disc Club Inc. “Our mission is to serve those who served—helping veterans and their families build community, improve wellness, and have fun together.”

Registration: $40 per player (includes player pack).
All proceeds benefit Veteran’s Disc Club Inc. programs that connect veterans—especially those living with disabilities or PTSD—and their families to outreach and recreational opportunities.
