PFCU & Hometown Sports Inc. Donate to Local High School Athletic Association
Hometown Sports Inc. created t‐shirts to help fans show their support at the game. The embroidery store, generously donated $1 from the sale of each shirt sold. PFCU, the local credit union, matched the funds raised to help provide a nearly $2,500 donation to the Portland High School Athletic Association.
“We know our local high school sports bring our communities together and we are proud to support our hometown athletes with this donation,” says PFCU’s President/CEO, Harvey Hoskins.
The donation was presented at Portland High School last Friday evening between basketball games. In 2018 PFCU provided over $75,000 in donations and sponsorships to the communities they serve. From county fairs and community festivals to youth recreational sports and educational scholarships, PFCU is proud to make community a priority.
PFCU was established in 1947 within the Holly Carburetor Plant in Portland, MI. Today, the credit union is a full‐service financial institution with thirteen office locations throughout mid‐ Michigan, over 50,000 members and $521 million in assets.
