For many years, the Thornapple Garden Club hosted the Thornapple Garden Tour in Hastings. This year the Club decided to start a new tradition to celebrate many aspects of gardening and native plants.
"A Day in the Garden" will be a special day for participants to tour the Institute's facilities and learn about native plants. Participants will have a chance to attend workshops, listen to speakers, and visit vendors to learn more about native plants, pollinators, and propagation. In addition, participants can tour the Institute's facilities, property, and native gardens.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Thornapple Garden scholarship, "Walk Gently on this Good Earth."
